The Aviara 36 is a boat that catches everyone's attention with its striking design and impressive performance. ENGINES AND PERFORMANCE





The AV36 is available in either an outboard version (the AV36 OB) or a sterndrive version (the AV36 I/O). The two versions are essentially identical, and vary only at the stern, due to their propulsion package. The sterndrive model has three optional power package options, all of which have twin Ilmor engines available in either 380-HP, 430-HP or 483-HP. The outboard version comes with triple 300-HP Mercury outboard engines. The twin 483 horsepower Ilmor 7.4-litre engines make 966 horsepower total, making it about comparable with the triple 300-HP outboards, due to the added weight of the sterndrive model.

With the outboards (or the larger sterndrives), the boat hops on plane in around 4 seconds with an efficient cruising speed of about 34 MPH where she burns about 1 mile per gallon. Her max top speed around 55-60 MPH.  Both models are yacht certified and both have a draft of 2'7" with a fuel capacity of 214 gallons. The power packages are designed to deliver a thrilling performance while ensuring a smooth and enjoyable ride. Available options include Autoglide automated trim tabs with built-in indicator.

BOW AREA
